How to Set Goals in 2020

When it is obvious that the goal cannot be reached, don’t adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.

Yes I know new years resolutions are so 2019 but here I am setting goals in the new year, and I bet most of you are too. What i’ve learned in my years of making resolutions and setting goals is, that if there are no dates or action steps in place, then the you’re just wishing that they will get finished. So whatever goals we create make sure you put a date or a benchmark so that you can have a concrete date to work towards. So with that being said here are how I intend to achieve my goals!

First I try to break my goals into categories so that it’s easier to refer back to them. Second I always write them down.

Spiritual: One of my goals is the journal more (or at all) to achieve that I have placed the journal my my bed and I have set an alarm that will wake me up earlier. I can’t set a time limit on this goal but I will put myself in a position to make sure its completed.

Professional: Complete my certification requirements before this year is over. To achieve this goal I have contacted the local college and sent the required paper work to get the ball rolling.

Personal: Fold the clothes as soon as they come out of the dryer. Ya’ll pray for me with this one

Physical: Run a 10K. I signed up for a 10k in May and I payed money so now I have to do it. I downloaded the app Couch to 10k app and I intend to complete the training plan. Another good app is the Nike Run Club app

Financial: Produce another stream of revenue. This goal I am not 100% sure of how to achieve but I have given myself benchmarks to make sure that I can ask the right people about how they create new streams of income.
